The Lonely Pine

The lonely pine
In thickly wood
Beneath the blind
Of others stood

Among them all
Gathered round
Looking down
On him so small

And passer by
Gaze with fright
Of giant forest
In their sight

The lonely pine
Below the view
Stands alone
Unseen by you

But from His throne
The height of all
And looking down
I’m just as tall

Sunbeams of light
And borrowed drops of rain
From high above the clouds
My all He will sustain

The lonely pine
In thickly wood
Beneath sublime
He bravely stood
