The Lonely Pine

The lonely pine
In thickly wood
Beneath the blind
Of others stood

Among them all
Gathered round
Looking down
On him so small

And passer by
Gaze with fright
Of giant forest
In their sight

The lonely pine
Below the view
Stands alone
Unseen by you

In skies above
The height of all
And looking down
I’m just as tall

Piercing rays of light
With timely drops of rain
From high above the clouds
My all He will sustain

The lonely pine
In thickly wood
Nestled beneath the prime
He stood
