TEENS (7-12 Grade) connect on Sunday mornings at 9:30. Lessons are helpful, friendships are healthy, and teen events are Christ-honoring. The objective is to foster godly character. They are loved, encouraged, and taught to face life's challenges with God's grace and Biblical truth. They will soon learn at FBC that life has purpose and promise through a purposeful relationship with their Saviour, Jesus Christ. Some of the teen events include winter and summer activities, an annual bonfire night, Teen Camp, Rally’s, and Conferences.
It is the desire of FBC Groton to encourage teenagers to know God and to teach them how to establish a purposeful relationship with Jesus Christ. Young people are challenged with opportunities to interact, to engage in ministry throughout the calendar year, and to establish personal devotions.
Aaron and Shannon McCarthy have been serving at FBC Groton since 2010. They love working with teenagers. Their goal is to encourage teens to make wise decisions and to live their lives to glorify the Lord. The McCarthy's exemplify a Christ-like spirit in their leadership, they teach helpful Bible lessons, and provide a wholesome environment for Christian fun and fellowship.
