The lonely pine
In thickly wood
Beneath the blind
Of others stood
Gathered ’round
Esteemed by all
And looking down
On him so small
And passerby
With much delight
Of giant forest
In his sight
The lonely pine
Below the view
Stands alone
Unseen by you
But from His throne
The height of all
And looking down
I’m just as tall
Deflected light
Extended rain
Obscured below
He will sustain
The lonely pine
In thickly wood
Beneath sublime
He bravely stood
